Substantiated Success Backs Self-Regulating Radiant Heating System

Electro Plastics, Inc. (EPI) (dba STEP Warmfloor) inventor of the only low-voltage, flat, homogeneous self-regulating Positive Temperature Coefficient (PTC) heater in the world, has many years of proven success. Over ten million square feet of product have been manufactured and installed worldwide, providing the basis and foundation of product durability, sustainability and energy efficiency.

In fact, the company’s manufacturing facility is another example of its product’s Positive Temperature Coefficient (PTC) properties. The facility has approximately 35,000 square feet under one roof. For over six years the LEED designed and constructed facility has been carefully monitored. The findings show an impressive minimal power usage during the six winters: 0.6433 Watts/SF (2.19 BTU’s/SF).

For more information on their low-voltage, self-regulating radiant heating systems visit the STEP Warmfloor website.
