Noted systems-built home expert Michael Harris has joined ProudGreenHome.com as an Approved Contributing Expert.

Harris, an independent Lindal Cedar Homesdealer, founder of WarmModern Living and former CEO and president of Lindal Cedar Homes, will contribute his unique insights into high performance and systems built homes as part of the site's exclusive slate of industry expert contributors.

"We are absolutely thrilled to welcome Michael Harris to our ACE program, where his insights will be valued throughout the residential construction industry via our powerful online publishing platform," said Bob Fincher, founder of Sustainable Community Media and publisher of ProudGreenHome.com.

Trained as an architect as the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Harris rose to president of Deck House Inc., a custom home manufacturer and later became a consultant with Linda Cedar Homes. At Lindal, he developed a strategic plan to revitalize the company's offerings, and in 2007 became the first non-family CEO in the company's history. He in an author and speaker on green and systems built homes, as well as founding WarmModern Living, a consultancy for home builders, creating and managing the Lindal Architects Collaborative and consulting with the company.

Harris's writing will appear regularly on the site and will also be published in the Sustainability Headlines email newsletter and promoted on ProudGreenHome.com's social media channels.
