Versatile kitchen faucet delivers commercial functionality at home
Architects and designers, as well as consumers, are looking for kitchen faucets with an industrial-inspired spring spout – or pre- rinse spring faucet. And while commercial-grade options deliver on style, they often lack the functional conveniences homeowners want: like easy maneuverability of the hose and spray wand.
At the 2016 Kitchen & Bath Industry Show, Jerry Capasso, product manager at Moen, demonstrated the Align pre-rinse spring faucet designed exclusively for the residential market. It provides a pulldown fixture with a look fit for an industrial kitchen, but with the reach and flexibility required for residential use, Capasso noted.
The new Align spring faucet not only features an industrial- inspired look, but also delivers a more convenient kitchen experience every day. Its thoughtfully designed, pulldown hose provides extended reach, as well as a multi-function spray wand that’s easy to maneuver, and a hose that retracts effortlessly and docks securely.
“We know that these features are critical in the kitchen, where usability and functionality are important long-term benefits for homeowners,” Capasso said.
The faucet features Power Clean technology provides 50 percent more spray power versus most of our pulldown and pullout faucets without the Power Clean technology, while containing splashing and minimizing mess. Now, users can clean dishes faster while reducing the amount of residual water in and around the sink. Greater force means faster clean-up with less water used.
