Water filters beat bottled water and pitcher filters for healthy living
The struggle to ensure clean, healthy drinking water is getting worse, even in the United States. Often, municipal authorities are fighting a losing battle as more and more chemicals and pollutants wind up in drinking water every year.
At the 2016 Kitchen & Bath Industry Show, Kathleen Fugler, marketing communications for Pentair Water Quality Systems, reviewed the company's Everpure water filter brand.
Everpure has been used as a water filtration system in premium coffee houses and restaurants nationwide. Now, the same commercial-grade technology is available for the home, Fugler said.
Fugler demonstrated the company's under-counter water filtration system that delivers clean water to a single tap.
Everpure's H-300-NXT offers consumers peace of mind with its NSF/ANSI Standard 401 category 3 standard which certifies the system will reduce several emerging contaminants, like pharmaceuticals, BPA and over-the-counter medications, that may be found in drinking water, Fugler said.
