A clean air filter is an important part of a heating and cooling system that will intercept particles that build up on the blower fan and heating and cooling coils. Additionally, high-quality air filters can improve a home's indoor air quality.
The choice of air filter is dependent on the needs of the home's occupants. The greater the filtration need, the higher the filter efficiency needs to be. To be sure the efficiency claims of filters are accurate, select only those where the type of test or rating is referenced.
